The Philosophy
The Philosophy
I favor a play-based approach, with a mixture of Montessori, Waldorf, nature school, and old-fashioned common sense. In my backyard, you will see sensory play, art projects, nature exploration, and most importantly, kids being kids.

Mixed Age
I offer a mixed-age "one-room school house" approach for kids as old as 6 and as young as 3 months. I keep the group small so that each child can receive individualized attention throughout the day, and I'm always excited to welcome siblings into the program.
We've had a number of kids stay from infancy through age 6!
Results
Results
Our students often end their time here better equipped than their peers to meet the academic and social challenges of their next phase of education.
Our alumni have become members of Berkeley Hall, Brentwood, Curtis, The Center for Early Education, John Thomas Dye, Marlborough, Harvard Westlake, PS1 Pluralistic School, Carlthorp, St Paul the Apostle, and St Timothy, among many others.
Come visit and you will see the confidence with which each kid navigates the space and interacts with each other.
